THE NORDIC WATER COLOUR MUSEUM, SKÄRHAMN
The Nordic Watercolour Museum is a unique meeting place for art, nestling in a striking natural environment. It is a center for art relying on water, pigment and light, and here exciting encounters are the rule. The exhibitions of Nordic and international artists, the colour experiments, courses for children and adults in the children´s studio and the experimental workshop all contribute to provide full and varied opportunities for everyone to take an active part in art creation.

The museum also possesses an exiting shop, as well as an assembly hall for cultural events. There are also five studios on Bockholmen Island to rent. Road description: To reach Skärhamn, drive first (by bus or car) about 50 kilometres (30 miles) north from Göteborg. At Stenungsund you head due west across the Tjörn bridges to reach the small community of Skärhamn on the west of the island.
